I love Regina Spektor! Such good stuff. Rick, I'm sending you a Facebook friend request ( is that what it's called? ). I just signed on a couple of weeks back in spite of the enormous inner turmoil this generated in me; I don't know that I want more of "all this" in my life but so far, it's been fun! It would be good to have you amongst my "friends" there so I'll send it along! How are you doing? I think of you often and you are in my prayers; you still have chocolate and beer coming any time you feel the inclination. Take care. M.
Hi Michelle. Thanks for the invite! Yeah, facebook has its charms - even little connections are better than none.
But yeah, it's been pretty interesting. I've been caught in a positive feedback loop for the past couple weeks. I get the definite feeling of being bouyed up by the prayers of others. Palpably. Quite a lovely sensation that, I must say. Sweet spot.
So, good things abrewin'. Mostly just thanking God for my life. And those near and far so dear. Which is a pretty good place to start new chapter, don't you think?
Thanks for being there. (listening to your jukebox... "I'll point you home..." Good stuff, Maynard.)
